Our local Military Support Group have been trying to get people to keep our loved ones always in your minds by tying yellow ribbons on signs and light poles around town. The photo above is an example of some of the ribbons. Notice the North entrance to the high school. There is another sign that is decorated. Regardless of your political stand on the Iraq War, our loved ones are the people who need moral support. Let's all of us send phone cards, or just letters, to tell them that we support them and help them get through their tough assignment. Get in touch with your local Military Support Group and find out the addresses of each service person. Forward the addresses to me. I'll post them on this site. Then write that letter. It won't take but a few moments and it will be very important to our service people. If you know of any other local service person, please let me know. I'll post their names as well. |
