Finder Commands for a Macintosh!
(very similar to PC Commands)

Copies file to new location

Takes a picture of the screen

Allows you to make a selection onscreen, then takes a picture
Command-Shift-4-then Spacebar
Takes a picture of the selected window

Startup Commands for a Macintosh!
Command
What it does
Press X during startup
forces a Mac OS X startup
Press Option during startup
Brings up startup manager so you can choose a startup volume
Press Option-Command-Shift-Delete
Bypasses primary startup volume and looks for a different startup volume (such as a CD or external disk)
Press C during startup
Starts up from a CD that has a system folder
Press T during startup
Starts up in FireWire Target Disk mode
Press Shift during startup
Starts up in Safe Boot mode and disables login items and non-essential kernel extension files (Mac OS X 10.2 and later)
Press Command-S during startup
Starts up in Single-User mode (a.k.a., the command line)
Press Command-Option-P-R key until you hear the startup sound a second time
Resets PRAM
Press Command-S during startup, type /sbin/fsck-y at the prompt
Runs file-system checks
Press Command-Option-O-F during startup, type eject cd at the prompt
Ejects CD

Brings up Force Quit dialog box
Command-Shift-Q
Brings up Log Out dialog box
Command-Shift-Option-Q
Logs you out immediately
Control-Eject
Brings up Restart, Sleep, Shut Down dialog box
Command-Control-Eject or Command-Control-Power
Quits all applications and restarts your Mac
Command-Option-Eject or Command-Option-Power
Puts you Mac to sleep
Command-Control-Option-Eject
Quits all applications (after giving you a chance to save changes to open documents) and shuts down your Mac
Press the reset button on the computer itself (if there is one)
Restarts your Mac
Press and hold the power button on the computer for six or more seconds
Shuts down your Mac without saving documents
